DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!!!!! The advertised deal is completely deceptive. I saw a great rate for a unit pop up on my Instagram so I contacted PS to find out if it was too good to be true. I was assured 3 separate times by 2 different people before I signed any agreements that that would be my rate and it would not go up within the first 6-12 months, and if it did then they would simply send a message to corporate to reduce the increase back to the special. So I believed them, signed, spent $1000 and an entire weekend moving from my other storage unit to this one. Not even 3 months in I am sent a rent increase to raise my rent in the next 30 days over 45%!!!!!!!! So, I do what I was instructed and have them contact corporate to reduce the increase. They won’t budge, and all I’m told is sorry, I still have a good rate. This is unethical and malicious business practice that has now cost me hundreds of dollars more than if I had just stayed at my other unit because this unit is now the same price, and I’m out the cost of moving. I don’t have enough money or time to move again to another facility. This place is a money hungry scam and I will be researching to see if this deceptive practice is even legal. Where are the consumer protections against these companies? Contacting the BBB to share my experience here and hopefully open up an investigation. I’m obviously not the only person to be scammed by PS. My advice to you, don’t believe the deal they sell you and do not rent a unit here!!!!
