I was at the Public Storage at 5005 Evans for 3 months before they raised the rent 50%. Meanwhile, at my unit the roof leaked and the door springs were so worn out it would hurt your back to get the door to slide up. On the plus side the on-site manager is super nice and its easy to cancel and moved out, which i did first opportunity I had.

I've been renting a unit at this location for about a year now and have always been a bit frustrated with the management, or the seeming lack thereof. However, I went into the office today and was greeted by a new face: Emily, (the new manager as of a couple months ago from what I hear) who was friendly, extraordinarily helpful, and genuinely empathetic in both of my interactions with her. I've worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years so I know how big a difference it makes when someone actually cares about what they're doing. I also know how disgustingly hard it can be to find that in the real world. Cynicism aside, I can honestly say that Emily stopped me from moving my storage unit to a different company and she didn't even know she needed to. Thanks, Emily.

I'm having complications with my public storage lock. Elliot was completely understanding as to why I am unable to pay my storage fees. Having to pay a locksmith is putting a dent in my pocket. I hope they keep a master key in the future. Thanks Elliot for understanding.
