This experience wasn’t even one star. There was no greeting, and I was never acknowledged. The staff member was sitting and eating at the desk, which felt unprofessional. I purchased two boxes, and no assistance was offered to help carry them to my vehicle. I was simply handed the two metals and a receipt and told to ‘drive safe.’ Very disappointing

This was my first time renting a storage unit and the process is way easier than I expected. They do offer to rent by phone or rent online but being my first time I wanted to see the place and I’m happy I did. I got to meet kiya who is such a sweetheart and she’s very knowledgeable about the whole process

I moved out of my Public Storage unit on April 11 and returned briefly the next morning before 9 AM, solely to double-check the unit was empty and clean. I was off the property before any staff arrived. Despite that, I was charged for an additional rental period. When I contacted the on-site manager to explain, she told me that because my gate code was used, I was automatically ineligible for a refund — regardless of whether the unit was empty or whether I had actually used it. When I tried to explain, she became hostile, refused to listen, and hung up on me. I then called corporate. On April 12, a representative told me I would receive a refund within 5–7 business days. It’s now well past that, and no refund has been issued. Now I’m being told the only person who can resolve this is the district manager, but there’s no way to contact them directly without going through the same site manager who hung up on me. This experience has been beyond frustrating. My account was closed, my unit was vacated, and I was promised a refund. I’m now left with no unit and no money returned. I’m asking that a district manager or regional representative contact me directly to make this right. I will gladly update this review once the issue is resolved properly.

Move in easy. Easier to get through gate when download app. Hard to find unit without map. Wish there were signs for unit#s, instead of randomly walking the entire floor
