Would NOT honor reservation price

After making the reservation, I spoke with someone onsite (male) who told me the reservation would be good until February 13th (about 1 month). I received an email a few days later saying the unit was no longer available. Two weeks later received a call from Manager Terri, said they had another unit available if I wanted it. Told me the price which was more than the reservation price but said they would honor the reservation price if I had proof. I had a copy of the reservation so shouldn't be an issue. I went in on the 9th to do the paperwork. After everything was complete, Manager Terri (who I spoke with the week before) told me they would not honor the reservation price. Said I had to come in before 1 month for quote to be honored. When I said it was less than a month, the requirements changed from 1 month to 2 weeks. I told them to cancel the reservation and I went somewhere else. They then called on the 10th to verify my 13th move-in date.

Just got unit today, Christa is the best associate that I have met in a long time she is extremely kind and polite, very professional. The sign up was so easy and the place is very safe. the price you can’t bet . Great place.

All good things to say about this location and management. The grounds are always clean and free of debris and Christa is the nicest person I have met. She is very cheery, respectful, helpful, and knowledgeable in her job.

I had a very unpleasant interaction with the manager today. I found her communication rude and unprofessional. I hope management looks into customer service training.

Unfortunately, this Storage King does not seem to be attentive to the nonworking air conditioned units. My unit which is a large and expensive unit is not properly heated in cold because the AC unit outside seems to have a broken part making a very loud humming noise and is not functioning to its intended function. Units look very old and unkept. I have called and complained, but nothing is being done to resolve the issue. Cannot recommend Storage King. There are many other brand new storage facilities within close proximity that have newer facilities and will better serve the majority of paying good customers.
