I strongly advise against renting a storage unit from this facility, particularly an "indoor" unit. These so-called indoor units are merely outdoor units that have been cheaply modified to appear as if they are indoors by adding air ventilation. The insulation in the roof was not properly covered and began deteriorating due to ceiling leaks. As a result, the air conditioning system circulated mineral fibers—white, powdery, sticky, and flaky material—throughout the unit, causing significant and irreversible damage to my furniture and belongings. I am now dealing with the insurance company, where I expect to receive only a fraction of the compensation for my high-end furniture. Given that this unit was classified as "indoor," there is a strong possibility that the insulation contains asbestos. A sample has been sent to a lab for testing, and I will be pursuing legal action. To avoid a similar experience, I recommend taking your belongings to a facility that offers genuinely indoor storage. I have uploaded a video as a reference.

I have a climate controlled unit at this public storage. Since I have moved in I have noticed that it's about 10-30° hotter in that storage unit than it is outside which is crazy considering we're in florida. I have voiced my concerns about this every single time I am there during business hours and I'm told that climate controlled does not mean air conditioning. So I'm not sure what I'm paying extra for but it certainly is an air conditioning. The air conditioning has not worked in that unit since I got it. I am constantly told that it's being repaired and it's not running at all now it used to at least blow hot air so it wasn't so humid. The reason I went with a climate controlled unit was because I am storing valuable antiques that cannot be exposed to humidity and high temperatures But more importantly I have health problems That Make my body unable to handle extreme heat. Because of this I have been unable to work in my unit for more than 5 minutes at a time since I've gotten it.

I’ve rented multiple units here, and always been happily surprised with the owners clear communication of standards and hours etc. we will continue to do our business with this location and def would recommend to any friends/family needing storage!!!

Looking for a place to store your belongings you worked your hard earned money for? Do you expect mold and mildew after everything is soaked with water somehow from the fire sprinklers? Then this is the place for you! Oh but wait! There's more! Public Storage has a zero accountability policy. So you can file a claim with some fly by night insurance company and cross your fingers! Neat huh?
