Price Gauging

This firm is engaging in price gauging, and in a pandemic too. "What is considered price gouging: Price increases that are Гўв‚¬Е“grossly in excess of the price prior to the declarationГўв‚¬Вќ When price gouging laws apply: During a state of emergency." I have been a customer of theirs for over four years and as I'm sure many of their customers in Florida are, I do not live near the facility. I am currently being charged $145.00 for a unit they are advertising for $88.00. and am being told I can come move my stuff to another unit of the same size to get the $88.00 price. This is PRICE GAUGING, it is certainly immoral and probably illegal too! I'm happy with the Self-Service, I do it and they provide good facilities but really the price differential is extreme! Now, try to get in touch with anyone of import, a legal department........ I'm not done.

New mangment is horrible.Rude, arrogant,lazy. The wire screen on my storage was full of trash, and some smaller trash had also got into my space. It seemed like someone just dumped a trash bag over on top, instead of taking it out. The 2 new guys in the office were so rude they didn't even give me chance to tell them about the trash. For the amount of money they charge they can at least keep the place clean. Moving out.

The storage facility is great, clean, easy to access, and that back loading bay is barely ever occupied 👌 The highlight, though, is the super friendly and helpful staff behind the counter. They handle every issue quickly, with a smile and a kind word each time. Best place in town!

I had the best experience with Brian and Chris! I was moving from Ohio and after the hurricanes there wasn’t much selection. They both called me when something came open to see if it would fit my needs. On move in day Brian was so kind and efficient! I was in a hurry bc my new apt complex kept changing move in times and Brian was very patient with me. The place is very clean and I feel safe going there alone. I’m so happy I chose this facility!

I am very pleased with how easy renting and moving into a storage unit at The Lock Up turned out to be. Both property managers, Brian & Christopher were welcoming and super helpful. They went out of their way to make sure the rental and check in process went smoothly and I love that you don’t have to pay extra for a lock. Seems like a small thing but it’s those little things that can make a difference.

Raised our price 40% for no reason and after less than a year. Originally we were paying $157 a month. Now it's $217. Yet still only $154 online if we rent a new unit of the same size.
