I trusted public storage to be a safe secure place to temporarily store my entire life; my entire home, literally after being evicted from my home of 15+yrs. After being convinced with a cheap down payment and move in cost the amount due jumped from double to triple the amount owed with $100+ per penalty fees then my units were sold sneakily in a private auction. No one (not even i)was allowed to participate in or have previous knowledge to participate in and auctioned off to an known cocontributor of there's at the bare minimum of pennies on a dollar, resulting in me losing my entire life savings, family airlooms, my children and our families generational hand me down keepsakes passed on over time is now stolen and lost. I was in a situation I've never been in before and fooled into believing I was going to be able to get my life on track and move forward, instead im told i still owe public storage the remainder of what they could of sold my units for and then some. They would rather orchestrate the eraser of my family's airlooms and our ancestral history, all of my family's precious memories, but most tragic my trust in others and beliefs of being able to move forward and get past this. i steadily struggle to find the answer of why. The one saying that keeps coming back up is, that if it looks and sounds too good to be true, it must be and avoid it. Take my life changing story to heart and look elsewhere for your needs and stay far away from any public storage facilities or risk ending up like my family or possibly in a similar predicament. i pray that you please heed my warning and dont put yourself or your loved ones in this detrimental trap. This is my complete and total honesty given wholeheartedly.
