Public Storage - Suitland - 3700 Saint Barnabas Rd

No regard for renter's property. The concrete floors were upgraded by grinding and resurfacing. The unit was not protected so the water and dust from the process seeped underneath and collected on EVERYTHING inside the unit and totally destroyed a box containing special wall pictures and portraits. Thank goodness they were wrapped in bubble wrap inside that box and protected from the dust and water! No notice was given of impending work nor once it was complete... Nothing! Buildings are old and you can see where trash is simply thrown over the fence surrounding the property. #Neveragain! Since my post, management has reached out to discuss issues and was very apologetic for the problem. It was suggested I file an insurance claim (since the unit was insured) but portraits and pictures are an "exception" and are not covered. I'll do more research next time! Thank you PS for the resolution.

Customer Service was awesome, very friendly, and professional. Monica gave me all the information I needed and more. Only reason I rated a 4 is because I had to pay for insurance that was "required", but it didn't state that online, and if it had not been for me having some money to move over from my saving, I would have had to leave. Insurance should be up to the consumer, but other than that, everything else was PERFECT!

The Manager that I had was Monica and she is Fabulous! She is extremely professional and walked me through every step. The location that I chose is in Prince Georges County off of Barnabas Road. I recommend to any one who finds themselves in an unexpected situation in life to use that facility and take one less stressful situation off of your plate... You are in wonderful hands!
