Public Storage - Rosemount - 15854 Chippendale Ave W

As a storage facility, Public Storage is a good choice. Safe, clean, very helpful and friendly staff, easy to navigate web site. The only criticism that I have is that rates are a "teaser" and within only a few months, rate increases begin at a huge increase - often times 10% or more and often times more than one increase within one year. There are discounts and incentives for new customers, but the same benefit is not passed on to existing excellent long term customers who rent additional units, which is extremely unfair. Existing, loyal customers should be rewarded for their loyalty and long term excellent pay history. I just rented a new unit for $114/mo and am paying $262 for the exact same unit in an older building - insane!! There is no appreciation or "frequent flyer" or rewards benefits for long term tenants, unlike most other companies who compete to retain their good customers. From banks to auto insurance to stores like Kohls to restaurants to cell phone providers etc - there are rewards for being a long term loyal customer or having more than one service - not Public Storage. That is a huge disappointment and so sadly unless someone is in need of short term storage I would not recommend Public Storage. As a facility, however, I'm very satisfied and would give a 5 star rating if it weren't for the excessive and frequent rate increases and the lack of any kind of reward program or appreciation for long term loyal tenants.
