I rented a unit at this location sight unseen and went to inspect it before moving my belongings in. When I arrived, the lock was extremely rusted and very difficult to open. Once inside, I found the unit to be in unacceptable and unsafe condition. There were large patches of paint peeling from the ceiling, rusty nails protruding downward, and pieces of wood bordering the ceiling broken off and actively falling. Based on the visible deterioration, I had serious concerns about safety and whether the unit would withstand winter weather conditions here in New Jersey. I did not store any belongings in the unit. I closed my account the very next day and requested a refund, which was denied. Public Storage has taken no responsibility for renting out a unit in this condition. Customers should not be expected to pay for units that are clearly damaged and potentially unsafe. I am still seeking a refund and would caution others to inspect units very carefully before accepting them.

The property manager Reba was awesome! So helpful, personable, and professional! The rates are very reasonable. If you need a storage unit I highly recommend Public Storage, Tinton Falls! A++
