Let me just say, this place is incredibly sneaky with everything they do. If you can avoid this place as much as you can I highly suggest you do. Before I get into it, aside from the fact it’s way too expensive, looking at around $50/$60 a month for the smallest unit they have, they require you to have insurance and will charge you an extra fee on top of that. If you want access to your unit 24/7 you have to pay an additional fee every month. They fooled me when I first got in, being incredibly nice and not saying what comes with the process of leaving, and immediately telling people to leave a good review because of how they treated you when you signed up. This is where my problem starts, if you decide you want to leave, they obligate you to pay for 1 to 2 months additional of your storage rent before they close your account, otherwise, if you decide not to pay those extra useless months of this ridiculous requirement, they will lock your storage, lock your account and remove you from accessing the gate and the unit, they will take your stuff, put a lien on it and sell it at an auction without any of your consent. They will call and email you with many “delinquent invoices” until they get what they want, so keep that in mind. I personally had a bad experience at this specific location in Lexington because I had some of my stuff stolen from my unit, and I don’t access my unit frequently so I couldn’t report it exactly the time it happened. Unfortunately their cameras are not that great and only have records up to a week, so anything past that week you’re screwed. Not a safe place to store your things, even with the green locks they give you. Please be aware that your unit can be broken into easily without any signs until you find your stuff missing. Customer service isn’t great at handling these issues either, so overall this place is terrible and way too overpriced, with extra fees and taking ownership of your things. My advice is to stay away from this place.

Loved the automation of everything. The reason I liked it was because I didn't have to talk to anyone and could do everything at my own pace. Staff is very considerate and genuinely concerned about their reputation, so if anything comes up they are happy to accommodate.

I would not recommend this place. If you do use this place I suggest you have a police report ready. In the month of June, I had been displaced and stored much of my belongings here as I get situated under my Dad's name. It is now November and I have to find out that many of my belongings are missing. Mainly a box that has my PS5, my Switch Dock, Two PS5 games and Two PS5 remotes is missing as well as a Vizio TV. I was led to believe that I had misplaced it, but just yesterday I received a notification that someone attempted to log into my PS5 Account. Despite my complaint, these people do NOT ensure the safety of your belongings. I was informed by the lady at the desk to file a police report which I am now in the process of doing.

.added that Ashley is the best thing that ever happened to the Lexington South Carolina location. Just put stuff in the one on Platt Spring Rd Lexington South Carolina. They seam good,last one yrs back mice got my stuff but I have a unit in the middle now ,not outside. Staff has been nice ,my only concern is I had to give id after already putting stuff in the unit,I was locked out the gate,if it been closed I'd made a trip for nothing I believe my identification was needed by them just should be done before I put things in the unit. Not sure id be safe at night locked out the gate Phone call after I posted this and it was very helpful and handled.
