Climate control doesn’t work, roaches and bugs everywhere, your items will be destroyed. I am being charged a whole month of rent even though the unit was vacant. They’re threatening me with collections when I decided to ignore this scam for months. No staff on property so no one checks the units for vacancy every night as normal. Pictures and videos to come.

Do NOT go to this location unless you want your property destroyed! They do not check their Climate-Controlled units at all. The day I moved in, the AC broke and it was 88 degrees in the unit (supposed to be 82 or cooler). Everyone was profusely sweating (so imagine what it’s doing to wood furniture). The manager called the second day (I could not reach a manager ALL day the 1st day) and she stated she “fixed” it. Approximately 4 hours later, I was able to check on the unit and it was 89 degrees! The AC unit keeps turning off and she did not take the time to check this. So, if you are in building D-you need to ask for a “credit”, since they will not refund your money, even though you paid for a Climate-Controlled storage unit. Also, ask for the insurance number because your items will definitely be destroyed in this heat and humidity. Please see photos below for proof. Also, read my other reviews if there is any response to this stating they did indeed fix this. I am a regular reviewer on Google and have no reason to lie about this situation. I also rented from Public Storage in California with excellent service. The service here in Austin is atrocious! When I signed up for the Climate-Controlled unit, they stated there is a physical person here during regular business hours. There is not! You have to talk to a kiosk. Austin Public Storage is misrepresenting themselves, besides the manager lying about “fixing” AC units to their superiors.

Rat infestation, I pay for the climate area and it was 94° on summer time, the elevator do not work well, I had to throw away a lot of my things because of the rats.. 2 mattesses and clothes..

DO NOT RENT HERE!!! RAT INFESTATION. I’m looking at the other reviews and they must be fake because there is no Emilio at this location, in fact, you have to talk to a customer service screen if you need help. I rented here last Friday over the phone and I got my unit, when I came a few hours later, I opened my unit to find HUGE rat droppings EVERYWHERE. I began to look at the other opened units and saw the same rat droppings in the corners. This facility is filthy and no one works here. I went to this room at the entrance and talked to a customer service terminal where the rep cancelled my services and promised a refund since the cancellation was within hours. It’s been a week and the hold was dropped and I was charged the full amount for the 1st month. I went back up there to talk to the another rep through the customer service terminal and all she could was request a refund with a supervisor and told me there was no guarantee. Please, save yourself the trouble, time and money and rent somewhere else. I was able to find a nice clean storage with another company where my belongings are in a safe clean environment. It makes no sense to PAY to have your valuables and items you desire to keep in a dirty, filthy storage where vermin will destroy all you things, might as well through them away. On top of that, you will never get any help in case of an emergency. I would love to have this issue resolved and receive a full refund because honestly that’s what I am due. This is highway robbery and completely and utterly disgusting.
