I'm having the worst experience with Public storage in general. I tried moving into a unit here, outdoors and was checking out the unit before moving anything in. The roof was falling in and the light bulb was busted. I asked to be moved to a different unit and the roof was falling in worse than the first. The employee was out cleaning units so I had to call the customer service number and cancelled. I was told I was be refunded within 7-14 business days. To be very clear, I never moved in these two units. Before leaving the parking lot I rented out another unit at Military Parkway. Paid $142 and was suppose to get the second month free, per the contract you sign - also got an email confirming this. When I got there and was checking out the unit, there was a dead rat with mold growing on it. Jordan was a wonderful help and moved me into another unit and checked it out with me to make sure there was no issues. Finally moved my stuff into the unit at that location. I check my bank account and see there was a refund for the lock at the two units I had to cancel and a random $3 and $9 refund. Not $51.64 which was the amount I had to pay to rent the unit and not the month in advance I paid for $28.80. Also for the unit I am currently in, it's saying I need to pay for the month of December. I'm now being told that because I had to be transferred - in the contract it even states for you to check out the unit before moving in so why am I, a customer, being punished because Public Storage cannot maintain clean units - that my refund I was suppose to receive was transferred to the next payment. I'm also being told that there was no promotion for the second month free when I have the email saying other wise and in the contract I had to sign. You can't call the number and speak to anyone, it's all automated -don't know how I got lucky when I did but it is all for not because I will never see my refund - and chatting with an agent gets you no where. You might as well find somewhere else, they will steal your money and still request you pay more. At this point I'm tempted to be petty enough to get a lawyer and go to small claims court. No telling how many others have had troubles like this. Ferra C also did a terrible job as an online agent.

The property manager Liz is very helpful! I had alot of requests and not much money and she worked with me to get me in a unit I could afford and she was nice and very informative. She also went out of her way to help me out and I was very thankful for her great customer service. I will be using this storage facility for all my storage needs going into the future as well as advising anyone else who is looking. Thanks again! 5 stars!
