I recently visited the public storage located 5529 Virginia Beach Blvd. and wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately, my visit was not as smooth or welcoming as I had hoped. I was looking for a unit to store my vehicle, just moving down from Tampa, Florida to Virginia Beach, until my home is ready for move in, I was looking for a temporary home for my vehicle. Prior to my arrival, the associate Keith called to confirm the hold on the storage unit, which I appreciate it. However, upon arriving, I was expected to escort myself to both units to access their size rather than being shown the units directly. Additionally, I noticed that the handle on one of the units, appear to be tampered with or broken, Which raised concerns. Overall, the customer service experience was not very welcoming. I do feel that more attention to greeting and existing customers can make a significant difference, especially in an industry with many alternatives available. A more attentive and appreciative approach could make potential renters feel valued and confident in their choice to use this location. I hope this feedback is helpful, as improving. The customer experience benefits, both the business and its patrons.

Rented online with assistance. Unit was avaliable and lock inside as indicated. Just had the opportunity to speak with Terry in the office. Listened well, adequate answers, and a pleasure to talk with. So far so good but I anticipate no future problems. I rented from the Military Highway location 6 years ago and there were no problems. Even if you have some....be patient: this too shall pass :)
