Rats. Lots of them. The attendant on duty took pictures of my ruined furniture, promised to submit a report and work on getting pest control to handle. I called after the first week and was told the attendant hadn’t reached management yet but said he’d get back to me. After 4 weeks and additional calls that went straight to voicemail, I called corporate. They offered no resolutions but DID tell me they had no reports filed on my unit. Buyer beware. I have no personal axe to grind here. I hoped they’d respond quickly to rats and at least fumigate so the damage would stop (I checked recently and there are more droppings on the furniture). I’ve now got a bunch of junk I can’t clean that I’m paying to store. A lot of these 5 star reviews surprised me as they don’t seem to be actual reviews—just ‘I like so-and-so’. Honestly, if I could, I would give it less stars. Just recently got the storage unit out of necessity and with everything going on I asked for them to help me set up auto pay over the phone. They said that they could do that online since I’m paying my bill over the phone and they can just set it to where automatically comes out. Whoever I spoke to did not actually set up the auto pay and I got a bunch of notifications was charged late fees and the ease of use isn’t even that good. I have been to the Public Storage down the street in South Hill Puyallup and OMG significantly better customer service! Wish I had set up a unit down there as I am very confident that when someone was helping me there, I would’ve actually received help. Additionally every time I’ve been to this location. No one is actually on site either all around not a happy client will definitely be switching storage unit units pronto!!!! And if you are the type of person that likes hands-on health just due to life ease, this is definitely not the place for you! Not to mention inconvenient for bringing in large U-Haul’s if that is how you are bringing in your things.

I talked to a guy named Kevin without the K. He was able to resolve my problem with accuracy and professionalism. When he called me back he already did his research in my problem and had a solution to propose to me. There was no wasted time and I really appreciate it.

Originally I gave one star due mainly to an increase of my monthly charges I wasn’t aware was happening that caught me by surprise, but someone named Sue (apologies if I got your name wrong) called me, and she helped reverse the increase which is much more affordable for me right now. I don’t know a lot of businesses who take time to reach out to their reviewers to help and I really appreciated it.

Please don’t store your items here. I had my personal belongings stored for 1.5 years. Coming back just to find rat droppings and urine all over my furniture. I had to throw away everything it was so bad. There is an obvious rat infestation that they are not addressing. Paying 100+ Dollars a month just for it to be ruined. All that was stated was “looks like you don’t have insurance on the unit”. If you care about the items you are storing, i recommend somewhere else. If I could give zero starts I would. Max did his best to help, but it simply wasn’t enough. Do your own research.
