I have been a client of this location since 2019. I have had no complaints until recently (Feb-Mar 2026) - where honestly there were a number of concerns. However after leaving a review of my concerns here in a previous post - I received a call from the manager of this facility - Mike - who gave me the details of why the problems exsisted, the remedy they were employing to address the issues, and he even lowered my monthly rate to ease some of the financial considerations. Problems are going to happen in life - how one responds to them is what speaks to character and professionalism. Mike's response was above and beyond what was expected hence the 5 star rating and my continued use of their services.

I pulled in at the end of Mikes day he was absolutley the most helpful! I needed to move my storage unit closer to where I’m moving, and he was able to get me a unit that was absolutley perfect. I hate dealing with the online customer pages, and Mike was a million times more helpful. He made the whole process extremely simple and straight forward. I really appreciate his help!!

Had a bad experience with this storage space.I started renting probably a week into the month, yet was charged the full price. I moved out the day of and then I came back to and tell the office that I moved out. He said just make sure it’s all clean and you’re good to go. And because I went up there, he is now charging me 200 dollars, because now it’s a late fee. He told me it will go to collections if I don’t pay. After I left I received a couple phone calls, I call him back and he was pretty adamant about me paying. It’s only the 3rd day of the month. I’m now renting with Trojan and I’ve learned that they only charge a 20 dollar late fee after 6 days, because they follow state law. It would have only been my 3rd month there at the Public Storage on Ballinger way. Please be careful.
