They are a rip off!!! They advertise low rates and then jack the price up. i think i went from 90 to 254 in less than a year. I was also under the impression they were climate controlled…… Nope!!! I had some people help me move and i wasn’t able to go over there right away. When I did within the day or so, noticed there was mold all over the ceiling and light sockets were just covered up. I informed them local and at their call center. No action was taken. Went back over there 5 months ago or so and there was a leak… informed them and no action was taken. My belongings are ruined! i didn't. have a dog or cat in my home at the time i had my rugs that were in storage but now smell like urine! i have bags that zip to hold clothes and blankets, well why are there yellow spots all over my clothes and my bedding. there was excessive dirt debris not sure what you call it on some of the furniture, huge cobwebs!!!! I HIGHLY ADVISE STAY AWAY!!! Go use that new storage of Opelika Rd and Airport Rd. this is what 254 a month got me and that doesn’t include renters…..

I called to inquire about renting a space at the Opelika road location and spoke to an agent named Maddie.,She was courteous, well informed and answered all my questions. I will definitely use this facility based on my interaction with her.

I had a wonderful stress-free experience setting up my storage unit. There is a lot of space in my 10x20 unit and the lot is easy to drive throughout. Rich, the manager, did an excellent job explaining all the information to ensure I have a safe experience. The customer service I received has been consistently excellent. I lost my keys and the the matter was quickly resolved. I recommend this Extra Space Storage location if you’re looking for a facility that cares about your items just as much as you do.

Wow! Traci is a huge asset to your organization— after driving cross country, it was so nice to have a warm, friendly welcome. My daughter is attending Auburn and we booked this unit months ago sight unseen. It’s clean, the check in process to get the key and gate code was flawless and organized and I’m very relieved Traci was here to help us. 🧡💙🧡
