Excellent experience all around. Facility is exceptionally clean and well kept. Prices are competitive. Store manager Purity Ulmer is fantastic — highly professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. After looking at storage options in the Eastwood/Irondale area, I feel confident we made the right choice moving to Extra Space Storage (7845 Crestwood Blvd).

We found ourselves in need of a storage unit for a few short months. This location is all one floor and climate controlled, which is extremely convenient! The app associated with the unit seems like it will come in handy. We spoke with Purity over the phone just intending to ask a few questions, but she was able to go ahead and get our unit set up over the phone. She made the entire process quick and easy!

I'm not sure why there aren't more reviews about this, but they hiked my rate up suddenly with no information or explanation. They were great at move-in, but after 6 months, they increased the rent from $60/mo to $104/mo. All of my billing is done paperless, but I didn't get an email about it. They say they sent a written notice to my house, but I didn't see it. If you're going to stay longer than 6 months, I'd recommend looking somewhere else.

Really helpful with a last minute storage need. Entire building is so very clean. Purity gave me a tour of multiple unit options and explained everything in advance before I chose my unit and signed the contract. And the app works flawlessly for gate and door access!

I’ve rented a unit at Extra Space Storage on Crestwood Blvd for the past five months, and they’ve been incredible to work with. The facility is spotless, secure, and easy to access, but the customer service is what really sets them apart. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and quick to solve any issue. I’ve rented storage in other places before, and none have come close to this experience. Highly recommend!
