Took a little time getting it, but it was well worth the wait and effort

I'm glad I have this unit at West Coast Self-Storage. It is clean, has more than 1 bathroom (unlike some other storage places), a few of the tenants I encountered were very friendly and Riley was awesome about showing me around so I would not get turned around and be able to find my unit.

Not the closest to where I needed a facility, but worth the extra drive for availability of what I needed and cost. I have a corner 10x10 with a small door, so it would have been nice to have a light in the unit, but it works OK for my needs.

We needed short-term, temperature-controlled storage while in between homes. This facility is secure and clean, and the Erin is amazing to work with! She takes pride in helping each customer find the best unit (or in our case units!) to fit their situation. I cannot recommend this facility - and Erin! - enough. Thank you for being one of the least stressful parts of our complicated move!

The facility is excellent and well kept. However, buyer beware, the prices shown on their website are not what they will keep for you. Our unit is listed as $39/month (this is not the promotional price for the first two months) on their website and we were notified our new price will be $99/month. Edit: Lowering from two stars to one star. Have contacted office via email and phone (left voicemails) per owners response here, with no reply.

I wanted to advise you that if you plan to store your belongings here for an extended period, the fees will increase significantly. I started paying $100, but now they want $300 for a 5x10 unit, which is absurd. I’ve never encountered this issue in any other storage facility. Is a secure place but they are truly abusive with high prices. They don’t care if you are good customer always pay in time.

I have been a customer of West Coast Self-Storage Carlsbad for over 4 years now. I have rented 5 units of various sizes for different purposes. The management team there has always been very professional. The storage units and the entire building is always extremely clean. The building has top notch security. As a very happy customer I have recommended West Coast Self-Storage to several friends and also recommended them on social media. I am glad that they are located in an area that is so central to Carlsbad & Oceanside.
