Rented a 11x25 space. The space is NOT 11’ wide but actually only 9’, they count the little space between the parking spaces which really should be 1’ clearance between two spaces. The parking space is 9’ wide and my RV barely fit in with the two adjacent spaces being occupied. On one side I couldn’t even pass through but had to walk around my neighbors RV to get out of the back. Which brings me to the next point: ‼️ BEWARE‼️ Their electrical fence is on the INSIDE rather than the outside. Guess they are not worried about people coming in but people sneaking out. I learnt the hard way what 7000V feel like! The signs about the electrical fence are at 9’ height so not in sight when you are behind your RV trying to get passed Luckily I won’t need to move my RV until I’ll pick it up again, but for those two reasons I would not come back here

When rented unit signed up for auto pay. Got email saying rent hadn’t paid yet. Called immediately to resolve and pay right then. Then I get $6.95 service fee for calling on phone to immediately resolve it. Called back and they would not waive the phone fee saying I made the payment over the phone! I explained to them I would’ve just defaulted on the payment and not made it then rather than pay a $6.95 fee just for using the phone. Maybe a misunderstanding on my part, but I should’ve been given the benefit of the doubt as I called to immediately resolve the issue and didn’t realize the $6.95 fee would be added for just simply using the phone. I tried to rent the unit online to get the second month free but it wouldn’t accept it so when I went in person and signed up, they didn’t offer me the second month free option that their Internet declined to take for me. Other than those bad business policies, the place seems very secure and clean. Access to the place is very convenient and it is well lit at night.

I had over $12,000 of tools stolen from my trailer parked in their facility, John who works at highland and Ryan the operations manager claim they know who was involved but will not help hold the person accountable. Also there is a person who lives on the property and has easement access so the person can come and go at anytime with or without a gate code. I have asked numerous times for a copy of the footage which they say they have and turned over to the police but they claim due to company policy ryan cannot let me see the footage. Ryan also claims I can not see a copy of the company policy. Ryan won’t give me his supervisors number he just gives me his cell phone number like we’re playing a game. If you want your valuables protected please choose a different place, I have attached photos of the guy that lives on the property and my broken into trailer. Happy to remove this post if John or Ryan will help find the person who stole my tools. Also many other units and RVs were broken into and John claimed they were waiting for a tech person to come out so they can review the footage but the truth was John doesn’t know how to use or access the security system (Ryan was the tech guy) not comforting knowing the person that works there has no idea how to use the camera system. They did say that hey evicted the person that stole my tools but they cannot give me any info whom it was. In response to your response, If you know who stole my tools, and you evicted them for stealing my tools, please provide me or the sheriffs with the information so that I can get my tools back. Also Secure Rv Storage give people a discount if they leave a five star review. That’s why there are many new customers leaving 5 star reviews .

🛑𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐕𝐄𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄 𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃, 𝐂𝐀! My RV was just stolen off the lot because thieves cut through the back fence. The storage company KNEW the fence had been breached - AND NEVER CALLED ME TO TELL ME MY RV HAD BEEN STOLEN! They had video footage of thieves breaking in. The sheriff could have caught them in the next 2 days if I had known, but I had to discover the theft MYSELF! This company (the name "Secure Storage" is a total joke) claims it is making improvements now, but if anything goes wrong in the future, they are under NO obligation to take proactive steps to help their customers. The sheriff's deputy taking my report told me himself that he can't believe anyone would store their RV in this place because the owners don't give a damn. After going round-and-round with the manager as to why I never received a courtesy call regarding the theft, I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH THE DEPUTY. 𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐈𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐒!!! 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄: The company just responded to my review by publicly naming and insulting the hard-working deputy who took my theft report. This alone should be cause for anyone who respects law enforcement - as I do - to 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 do business with Secure Storage.
