Online booking without the need for in office visit to get set up was spectacular, and a first for me. In 2024 my house was listed for sale, I moved everything but my crowded garage to 5 storage units nearby, and dreaded the paperwork every time with that *other place*. I ended up moving back in for 6 months, house finally sold 10/2025, and it was off to storage again, this time with 3 different locations, 3 sets of in person annoying paperwork. PS really nails it on booking, payment, and signatures. The bad: gate wouldn't open on the app. Staff helped me get a type in code to the gate, fortunately staff was on site or would have been locked out. There's a scotch pine shedding needles all over the ground, big pile directly in front of my unit. Made move in unpleasant. No rate lock. Fabulous pricing will go away with a short 30 day notice, so long term renters BEWARE. The one staffer I interacted with was friendly and kind. Excellent for helping me with a couple of my issues.

I’m giving this storage four stars only due to the customer service that exists with the manager there John. John is an exceptional asset to the business of public storage. Public storage itself as a company is awful. The constant scamming & lack of transparency of payments is unbelievable. I would not be there if it weren’t for the high Customer Service that John offers. Thanks John!

This is more a review for the company, Public Storage, which sucks, though this is the location of my unit. They get you in with a low price and then raise it, constantly. It was ok at first, the intro offer expires, alright. But it just keeps going. My rate has been raised 5 times in 2 years and I was just informed that my rate will go up by another $70/month for a total of $390/month for a 10x20. There's no price transparency at all and it's maddening. Then they have the utter gall to try to charge you even more to get access to your unit after 9pm and frame it like an awesome new perk. Luckily, I pack all my stuff up for an event once a year and it'll be easy for me to move to a new spot, which I will absolutely do. It's not the fault of the local folks working there, but I cannot wait to free myself from the tyranny of Public Storage. I'll avoid this company for the rest of my life.
