My experience acquiring a storage space was great and pleasant. The clerk was very helpful and patient. Although I did (not get a discount) as a Retired Military Vet. I did get great service. Senior Vets are on limited income. We need all help possible from all sources having made the ultimate sacrifices of our own families.To defend and protect our home states and country as a whole. I had an excellent experience at CubeSmart, specifically at the 4008 North Dupont Highway location (Store #4242), thanks to Stephanie, the General Manager. She was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled properly during my transition to a larger unit. On the exact day I needed to move my belongings in, she assisted me with switching units seamlessly. Despite experiencing internet issues at the time, she remained calm, professional, and extremely efficient while troubleshooting and ensuring my transfer was completed without delay. Stephanie also went the extra mile to clear ice in front of the original unit to ensure safety, which truly shows her level of care and dedication. It’s very clear that she often manages the store independently and does an exceptional job juggling multiple responsibilities—even without having every resource readily available. She is pleasant, accommodating, and genuinely wonderful to work with. CubeSmart truly has a gem in Stephanie at the 4008 North Dupont Highway location. She is a tremendous asset to the company, and I highly recommend working with her.

My review is based off of the Market Street., Wilmington, DE location. I contacted the leasing office (from the advice of Cube Smart customer service line), to inquire on why I was being charged two different rates for the same size storage on the 3rd floor. I spoke with Noel, who place me on hold (for less than a second) to inform me that it's because I rented them at different times. So, I asked if she can provide the same rate for both of them and she replied, her manager stated no. I asked if I can speak to the manager and Noel than stated the manager just left the office. I told Noel, she does not have to lie. She hung up and would not answer the phone again. This past weekend I moved out of both of my storage units. As, I was moving so we're others with complaints about Noel, the storage rates as well as the rodents/quality of the facility. Both of my units had so many rat fece (lucky I wore gloves). I have most of my items in vaccum seal bags (thank God). However, this Noel person decided to walk around with a cleaning cart (just to be nosey). I noticed so much filth that needed attention which she did not clean. I'm currently renting from the Cube Smart in Newcastle, DE Stephanie (the leasing manager), is amazing, customer service 100%, facility 100% (no elevators). I only needed to rent one storage. The photos attached are pics of filth Noel walked past with her cleaning cart as I was finally leaving out of the Wilmington, DE location. Also, I walked right past a flatten rodent, I'm afraid of rodents dead or alive, so I did not take pic, I ran away.

Stephanie (GM) was excellent. Helpful, pleasant, smiled the entire time. Great prices. Clean. Easy access. Leaving my first review up but editing it. I have come to my unit 5 days this week. The first being the day after it snowed. The parking lot was half plowed. Parking spots not plowed. Sideways barely shoveled. I had to shovel myself in order to get into the building. Three days in a row no one has been in the office so that I could get a cart to get my stuff into my unit. Called customer service and they tried to reach the GM and DM. No one answered do I sit and wait with my belongings. The unit is climate controlled but the building is 37 degrees inside. I would switch storage facilities but what a hassle and a waste of money. Since I have already paid for a month. Finally able to get access to a cart but then I was told I had to get it done quickly because the person had to go back to another facility. They were only there to show a new customer a unit. I guess when they have your money. The customer doesn't matter anymore. Sad times when customer service is only about what benefits the company not the consumer.

I reserved my spot a few days in advance and when we arrived, the unit was locked. I ended up being on the phone with customer service for over two hours trying to find a unit that we could access. The customer service rep tried calling the manager and the district manager in which they were of no assistance. Finally we found a unit that was open and the rep transferred it to my name. Fast forward to now, I left the unit last month, removed the lock/key, confirmed the cancellation and etc…. But I’m still getting emails that I owe this month’s payment and I still have the unit. Yet again, customer service is more helpful than the management there.
