I’m extremely disappointed with the misleading pricing tactics used by Public Storage. What started as a reasonable rental rate quickly turned into a frustrating experience, with multiple rate hikes over just two years. Despite claims that rates are based on market data, I found I could rent the exact same sized unit at the same location for significantly less—and this research was done multiple times. This is a classic bait-and-switch: lure you in with a "low" introductory rate, then steadily increase the price once you're locked in. It’s not just frustrating—it’s deceptive. Transparency and fairness should be the standard, not the exception.
