I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND WHY BEST AMERICAN STORAGE KEEPS GOING UP DOWN ONE MONTH AND UP THE NEXT. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! FROM DECEMBER TO JANUARY PAYMENT IT WENT UP $13.00. UNBELIEVABLE! OK SO YOU ,AY SAY. WELL FIND ANOTHER STORAGE. OK I THINK THATS EXACTLY WHAT I AM GOING TO DO.!!!! AND THATS AFYER I CONTACT WHOEVER OWN THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never had any problems in two years of having my rental unit there. My belongings were still there, just as I had left them. No damages, the unit was huge and building was always clean and temp regulated.

Be very wary of this business. In January, I prepaid a year for one of their Dade City units. In April, they sent me a notice saying that they were going to auction off my things! Now, June 1, they overlocked my unit with their red padlock! They seized my stuff! I was terrified they were going to have an auction. I still am! I'm paid for 8 more months! Run from these people while you still can.

Michael is very friendly, and the units were reasonably priced when I first started renting here. That's what earned the two stars. Unfortunately, they raised my bill 10 dollars a month without any notification or approval, which violated the contractual agreement I had with them. When I called to dispute the additional charge, I was told that the manager was out sick, and there was nothing I could do. It's unfortunate that the trust was broken, but this experienced reminded me why it's important to read those automatic invoices each month. I will be taking my business elsewhere as a result of this violation.
