I’m genuinely disappointed with my experience here. I moved in at $22/month and after only four months my rate was increased to $40 — nearly doubling. That kind of increase, that quickly, feels like a strategy to attract customers with competitive pricing and then raise rates significantly once they’re settled. What made the situation worse was the customer service. When I went in to discuss the increase, the representative (Al, I believe) was on the phone. When he got off, the first thing he said to me was, “Will this be quick? Because I need to go cut a lock off a unit.” That was before even asking how he could help. Only after I showed frustration did he apologize and ask what I needed. All I was trying to do was ask if there was any flexibility on the rate increase and inform them that one of the automatic doors was not shutting properly. Additionally, when I first moved in, I provided proof of my own insurance. I was still charged for facility insurance and it took an unreasonable amount of time to get that corrected. I was told “corporate denied the refund request”, and the store manager (Courtney, I believe) even claimed I submitted my insurance late — which was not accurate. I had the email confirmation showing it was submitted on time. I was on autopay, never missed a payment, and was a consistent customer. Between the nearly 80% rent increase and the way concerns were handled, it made the decision to move out very easy. Future renters should be aware that introductory rates may not last long, and resolving billing issues may require persistence.

Cleanest storage unit I’ve rented in Athens by far! I’m always contacted when there are any issues with my unit, which I definitely appreciate. The receptionist Courtney is extremely nice and understanding. She was great with all the questions and concerns I had.

Online rental was very easy and a very good monthly rate. However I did chat with a representative and he did say the rate would eventually increase to the regular rate but did not have a definite time. The facility is very clean and well maintained.
