Worst Experience EVER!!… Got a call 2 days after 1st floor flooded and ruined my things in the storage unit. On top of that, the water was biohazard so everything was ruined and Insurance didn’t cover it. The storage facility offered nothing but another unit and still charge us full rent. The Worst Experience EVER!!

I've been a customer at the Northsude drive Extra Space Storage location for sometime. I've always had positive experiences with the teams there however the newest team, Chiquima (Manager) and Robin (Asst. Mgr) are incredible. Their customer service skills are unparaleled and they really take the customer service experience seriously. Recently, I reached out to the facility via phone to make a change to my account. I reached the voicemail but didnt leave a message. Within an hour, I received a call back from Robin who had seen the missed call and wanted to make sure I got the assistance I needed. I was impressed! I ended up renting a larger unit but after getting all of my belongings into the new unit, I noticed there was damage to the lock casing that would prevent me from being able to secure the unit properly. I alerted Chiquima and no problem, she and another visiting manager named Renita swiftly replaced the lock casing and all is good! Thanks to Chiquima, Robin and special shout out to Renita for making customer service and my experiences a priority! You rock!

At first I had a great experience - I was able to book everything online and set up my storage unit without even having to interact with anyone, it was beautiful and perfectly setup. HOWEVER. They will JACK UP THE PRICES out of nowhere. When I first started storing there, I was paying ~$50 for my very small unit, then after only 3 months they jacked up the price to $99. NINETY NINE DOLLARS. ALMOST DOUBLE THE PRICE. FOR MY TINY TINY UNIT. And when I called and asked, I got some bullshit answer, "oh yeah sorry we can change prices based on demand." DO NOT store your shit here unless you want to be held hostage to random rate increases.

Chiquima was amazing, informative, helpful and overall a joy. Although the pricing is high, she made the process easy and (almost) made me forget about the rate! 10 out of 10 experience.

I absolutely love the new online process of selecting a unit price, floor location ect. It makes for a very seamless process. And Robin’s customer service is top notch! She was very friendly and helpful and made sure all my questions were answered.
