Extra Space Storage offers solid value overall, with friendly, professional staff who make the entire process straightforward from the moment you walk in. The team is attentive, helpful, and genuinely tries to make things easy — whether it’s choosing the right unit, explaining the terms, or helping you navigate the facility. Pricing is another strong point: the rates are reasonable compared to many competitors in the area, and you feel like you’re getting a fair deal for the space and service provided. The only real drawback is the access layout. Unfortunately, the entrance and maneuvering area are not very convenient, especially if you’re driving a larger vehicle, towing, or moving bulky items. The design makes it harder than it should be to enter, position your vehicle, or make quick in-and-out trips. It’s manageable, but definitely not ideal and can slow you down if you’re in a hurry. Overall, a good storage facility with excellent staff and fair prices — just be prepared for a somewhat uncomfortable and tight entry setup. If convenience of access is your top priority, keep this in mind; otherwise, it’s a solid option.

Rob is the reason I’d recommend Extra Space Storage. Super helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He made move-in simple, took the time to explain options, and the facility is clean and secure. Great experience! I’d never rent anywhere else.

Mixed experience overall. On weekends the restrooms are closed, snow is not properly cleared in winter, and the gates do not always close correctly. Inside the storage it is very cold and windy, which makes it uncomfortable. The manager is not always pleasant and can be rude at times. The mobile app is unreliable and does not always work. The price is also very high — within six months the rate was increased to $300, which does not seem reasonable given the conditions.

Extra Space Storage is great for short term storage… however, if you have longer term needs, be aware that they have a very aggressive pricing model which tripled my cost in a little over a year. This is the second space I have rented from them and the same was true the first time. Given I have been burned twice, I have learned my lesson and won’t be back unless my needs are for a few months only.
