4/9/2025 - this location is totally unsecured. Gates not shut, no cameras. No daily walk throughs. Unit got broken into, and staff could barely be bothered. These people bought an old storage facility, never mailed out information about the switch, had tons of computer issues, and then split our two units to two different accounts. These issues caused late fees. Now, I get an email saying that they're doubling the rates. Since they've bought all the surrounding facilities they're the only option. Look for another company.

Well, we went to Buffalo Road to rent a unit in LaPorte. They could not take our card payment of over $200 to rent a 10 x 20 because they were having connection problems with the card reader. We were given the unit anyway we just had to pay them the next day. We did. Trust means alot to me. So far a fantastic company!

When I heard from the previous owners that they were selling the business I was sad. I have been with them for years. I was battling Head and Neck cancer. I didn't need anymore stress. When I spoke with the Hearthfire representative the first, I was so humbled. She made me feel like it was them that I had been with for years. The transition was so smooth and a true blessing. The old adage, "Don't judge a book by its cover" definitely had merit in this situation. I highly recommend Hearhfire Self Storage. Hope holidays are blessed for all.

They bought out the old owners out never did any improvements tripled the monthly rent and there is no electricity or lights that work I. The units or added security can't wait to move out
