The woman who helped me at the veterans/Carrollton location did a great job. She set me up perfectly and even toured me around to show me the size of the units. They even have paper signs up to help point me to the elevators. Great staff and experience getting my first unit from this company.

No simple process to get into storage unit since you have to have a working phone app. Wasn't told about additional insurance when quoted original price. Last minute facility shutdown on move in day. Hired movers, not pleased.

Since CubeSmart took over, we’ve been locked out of our units for no reason, access codes don’t work consistently even during office hours, and we’ve been charged for 24 hour access on four units that we didn’t approve the extra charge. Needless to say, we’re spending whatever it takes to move out rather than signing a lease agreement with them.

This was Lakeview Self Storage until October of 2025. When they switched to Cubesmart, none of the autopay information was transferred and late fees were automatically applied, without notice to the account holders (in my case). I had to make multiple calls related to this issue and it is not resolved as of yet. This was a complete and unnecessary waste of my time and a bad faith penalty. While, I would recommend Lakeview Self Storage (the old owners), the same cannot be said of the new owners, Cubesmart. Their takeover was amateur at best. Go to a locally owned storage unit and not this national chain with poor customer service.

Same problem as mentioned by others— this facility used to be Lakeview Self Storage and the renters were not notified of a change in ownership. I was assessed a late fee since I didn’t have autopay set up on this new payment platform (which I was never notified about or asked to enroll in). This was either a money grab opportunity or massive oversight on the new ownership's part— bad look either way. I purposefully chose to rent from a local storage facility instead of a large national chain based on poor previous experiences, so I’m incredibly disappointed in this.
