I don’t take writing this lightly, but I need to be honest about my experience. Choptank canceled my mental health intake on the very day it was scheduled—without warning. This week alone, they canceled my therapy appointment twice in a row, even after I expressed urgent emotional distress and the need to speak to someone qualified. I booked in advance, confirmed everything, and still got brushed off. The only doctor who initially seemed to care eventually stopped responding altogether. No follow-up, no accountability—just silence. It’s heartbreaking when someone you trusted with your care simply quits showing up. The only reason I’m still coming to Choptank at all is Bridget. She’s compassionate, consistent, and truly listens. She’s the exception in a place that otherwise made me feel disposable. I’ll be seeking care elsewhere for everything but Bridget. Mental health deserves better than this.

I was recommended to this facility by a coworker and I’m glad I was! They were the ONLY place that could see me for an emergency so props to them for that! I went in to get a tooth pulled and they prescribed me meds for 10 days first then went back yesterday to get it pulled. It was painless and quick!! That’s one thing that they made sure of is that I was comfortable the entire procedure. Dr. Martin and his dental assistant were awesome and I will definitely be coming back for my future dental needs! Thank you again!

Since I've been going to Choptank Community Health not once I had a problem thus far. The receptionist is very pleasant when entering. They answer all questions to their best of their ability. I see a primary & mental health doctor's & their nurses assistance are very pleasant and very understandable. They answer all questions of your concerns. They notify you if there is a change in your appointment. Their waiting time isn't no more than 15 minutes or less.

I won’t ever go here again. Besides having to wait two months when my insurance was about to expire and them leaving for the day with procedures unfinished. It’s a joke. I just had my son and needed to act quickly for my tooth that needed a root canal. They gave me an inexperienced dentist that kept consulting another one like he had never done this before and asked “is this right?” More than a few times! It’s very terrifying someone having tools in your mouth that doesn’t know what they’re doing. He didn’t even get halfway done and stopped. They didn’t even reschedule me for them to finish it! Something is terribly wrong with this office.

ATTN:BEWARE. I'm disabled. I had Dr.Zhou as my dentist. I had an appt for a root canal,the guy messes up on my root canal and comes up with a b.s. excuse as to why he stopped after 10 minutes of doing into my tooth. Said he "cut his finger". So I had to leave after waiting months for this appt. I ended up having a TERRIBLE tooth abcess after this appt which they prescribed me the wrong meds for so it got worse. i ended up being on antibiotics for a total of almost 4 months. Then he blatantly lied to me. He told me he would schedule my appt to finish the procedure which ended up being 3 months out. I waited my 3 months...and he forgot to schedule me! So they told me to wait another 2 months. I had called the place about this issue and dr.zhou REFUSED to speak with me when I've been super nice through the 20 mess ups(literally) they've had on me since the day I walked in. Its been nothing but lies. Unfortunately I cannot fit everything on here but I ended up finding out in the end that he stopped my root canal because he had no idea how to do a root canal on my tooth. SUPER scary. Why start the procedure then. I ended up having to go see a specialist because it was so bad and to think these ppl were going to make me wait longer and try to fix it. I have been traumatized by this experience. So I called administration and they were no help.the complete opposite actually.I have left a review for them too.. this place is AWFUL. If you don't want to have your jaw fall off or even die,I wouldn't go here..EVER. and just an FYI, no one reached out as they have written below.
