Have been a customer here for a number of years and can honestly say 3 years ago, I would’ve left a pretty decent review. As soon as they removed on site staff, the facility has hit an all time low. We pay a premium to have a unit on the drive line and many time have been unable to gain entry to the facility due to someone having driven into the exterior door. We have always overlooked this due to issues being fixed fairly timely…. ie within a couple of months… which is still an uncommonly distasteful amount of time. That being said, this most recent time, our unit was nearly affected, leaving a 12 foot garage door hanging precariously close overhead and cinder blocks dangerously dislodged, close to falling on us at any moment. Many times over the years we had retrieved items only to find them completely covered in debris from previous incidents or mold. Most disappointingly, their website states a clearance of 24’. Upon learning this, we rented a moving truck with a maximum of 12’. Upon trying to back in the exit door to move our belongings out, we were stuck outside of what I can only describe was clearly NOT a 24’ clearance as advertised. We were forced to park outside and walk our belongings out a side door as shown in a video. After years of renting, we have met our wits end. There are zero redeeming qualities about this facility. From feces ridden restrooms, to breached entries, this is the epitome of a storage unit slum lord at a premium price tag. Of everything I have ever reviewed, this is the only place I wish I could give negative stars to. The only redeeming quality about this place….. is leaving.

Storage of America was dependable, clean, safe, secure and had excellent customer service. I felt secure knowing my property was watched by cameras and only people with a code could get in the facility. When check out and out-processing time came around the staff helped salt the outside so we wouldn’t fall moving stuff to the trucks. I will always recommend this storage.

They need to spray for bugs and clean the bathrooms a little bit better. Please fix the garage door last month my wife was locked out of your facility and customer support was awful. Please give me better feed back since I been a customer with you on and off the last few years. Other then that I like my unit its a bit bigger then the last one I had so that is satisfying

Place sucks! Don’t waste your money here! They raise storage fees unexpectedly! And to top it off someone crashes through the door once a month and they shut the whole building down denying you access to your storage. And they keep no one at the front desk to help. The bath room stinks so bad you can literally smell it from the other side of the building and they don’t clean it or take care of it. People also hide their cars in the drive in spot all day and leave them blocking the way. Then when you call to address the issue of not being able to gain access they will hang up on you and give you no info on time or day. This place is a laughing stock of storage! T

When first at this storage it was spotless. The pictures will show where we are today. I sent an email after seeing how this place has.gon to hell ,but happy to keep pushing up the rent it seems, every few months. If ime being charged 300.00 per month, I want my items tored in a clean heat controlled area. Not this Filthy place. No body bothered to get back to me. And you are redirected back to your local office who obviously not care. When there is trash in the bathroom and absolutely filthy toilets no soap or tissue. We had been unable to get into the building due to repairs and I use it to store items for my business, and lost money as no access. Just emails to inform us.access is unavailable. So paying rent with no access has not been mentioned at least pro rate is due. Well mabe I will get a response now. Even the vermin didn't make it.
