Getting the unit was super easy and communication was great. A month or so into the rental, my debit card was shut down by Huntington for a fraud charge. The management let me know via text message that they received a fraud alert and the card was declined. I immediately (within a few minutes) texted her the replacement card number. I assumed it was handled. Today, I received two emails saying my unit is locked and my passcode is terminated. No issue; I don’t need my lawn furniture for a few months, but that’s beside the point. Because they didn’t update the payment method when I gave it to them a week ago, today is the day the late fee takes effect. $20. Bam. They are also now charging me an additional $13 “insurance” fee for coverage I don’t need. I have coverage. And their $2,000 limit won’t cover the $5,000 of things I have in there. This is a $33 money grab. Avoid them!

I've had a storage unit with them since early 2020 when I sold my house. The units are nice. Office staff have been absolutely amazing! I was paying $95/month for a 10x20 unit which was the best price around. Since then, in late 2024, the place was sold to new ownership. Price jumped to $160/month for the same 10x20 unit. Then raised again to $173/month. You are also now forced to have insurance for the things in your unit. November 1st 2025, the same 10x20 unit increased again to $189/month. If you call other storage facilities in the area for a 10x20 unit, they range from $110/month to $130/month. If you go further towards Perrysburg OH or more towards Southgate MI its roughly $150/month. Unless you can afford to pay California prices comfortably, I highly recommend going to another storage facility.

I rented a storage unit at Lambertville Mini Storage on Lewis after selling the house. The units are very clean and easily accessible. I rented the unit for 2months and found a new home. I was able to move everything out of the storage unit easily, and the cancelation of the rented unit was very easy. The people at the front desk are extremely nice! Highly recommend if you need a secure place to store your items!

New ownership. All prices doubled. Nothing special now about them. Outrageous fees. 50 cleaning fee when i can sweep my own unit in 2 seconds when i move out. Such a shame cuz i loved the place before

Fair storage prices. Always friendly staff. Since being bought by another company, my storage cost went from $60 to $102!! And they make you insure your rental either through your home insurance or through them(expensive)! Really miss the previous owner and their lower costs!!
