not what I expected

I was wary. I knew the storage place had been there for years and even drove passed it daily for about 3 years when I ran my errands. I thought it would be a dank, mildew smelling building where someone sitting in a caged cubicle would ask you for proof of your storage space rental, then watch like a hawk as you maneuvered the narrow halls and possible tiny elevators to a dark stinky storage area. BOY WAS I WRONG! It is a spacious area with lights you control. Nobody is there to watch over you. You use your key to unlock the door you choose to use then back your truck up to the loading dock. They have large, easy to use trolleys you load your stuff on and easily roll to your rental space. It is private, well light, and clean. You lock your stuff up, turn out the lights, lock the loading dock door, and go. The trolleys or carts make everything so much easier and surprisingly fast. Your things do not get bugs, mold/mildew, covered in dust, or any other weather damage. I learned this is easily the most ideal experience I have ever had with using a storage facility. I am very impressed.

I would not recommend! The maintenance men cut our lock off of our unit for no reason and then our unit was robbed. Cameras weren't useful because by the time we discovered their mistake it was to late to go back and review the camera footage. We were told "sorry" well...sorry didn't replace our items. Multiple people had their units broken into so get insurance if you plan to store your possessions here.

When we first moved to Sedalia in 2006 we found Bast Storage because it was climate controlled and we were storing an antique piano along with our other furniture and belongings while we were in the process of building a home. We had a great experience storing at Bast, so now that our son and his family are also moving to Sedalia to take a great job offer, we are recommending they store all of their things at Bast while they look for a home. Not only are our belongings safe at Bast with its climate controlled and secure indoor storage units, but I also feet totally safe there. There is good light for sorting through boxes, carts for moving our things in and out of the unit, 24 hour key card access for convenience, and loading-dock height access so all we have to do is back the truck up to the dock - no stairs or extra lifting. I recommend this to anyone who asks. The staff is also friendly and helpful, the prices reasonable, and our things protected. Sharon Brinton, Sedalia, Missouri.

Friendly, fair priced, and one of the only climate controlled storage options close to Warrensburg. The office isn't located with actual facility, but the storage facility is secured with RFID cards and cameras.

Secure and climate controlled. The office lady was super helpful. The prices are not bad at all. I have no issues with keeping my stuff there at all.

They don’t have a way to pay online and never answer the phone you should not have to call or go into make a payment there should be an option on website to make a payment
