I was a customer at this storage facility for three years - never missing a payment - sadly I can’t write a good review. I paid specifically for a climate-controlled unit and was told that pest control services the property every other day. Despite that, when I recently accessed my unit I found mildew throughout the space and mice droppings on my belongings. Nearly 80% of the items in my unit had to be thrown away, paying $600 in junk removal. While I did have insurance, that does not replace sentimental items that were lost. What is especially concerning is that there have been reviews posted since Mid 2025 mentioning similar mildew and pest issues. Despite apparently being aware of these problems, the facility never contacted customers by email or notification to warn that belongings could be at risk. When I mentioned this, the manager told me, “we have 900 customers” Also, when I spoke with the manager about the situation and mentioned that the front desk employee had not been helpful, the response I received was simply “he does that,” which was very unprofessional. I also asked when the HVAC system for the climate-controlled units had last been inspected and never received an answer. The property maintenance was also disappointing. After a storm, the doorways were not shoveled and I had to dig my way to my door with tennis rackets just to access the door to my unit. In addition, the security gates are frequently broken and left open, which makes you question the level of security that is advertised. Between the damage to my belongings, the lack of communication about known issues, and the condition of the property, this experience was extremely frustrating. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves maintenance, pest control, and communication so other customers do not experience the same loss as I did.
Disgusting. Rat feces everywhere. When we first moved our things here under different management everything was cleaned and well maintained. Now we’re moving out because we found rat feces on all of our things. We have an infant at home, everything needs to be disinfected. When we called to tell them of the problem and asked how they would handle it the man who answered the phone says “I don’t really work at this location so I have no idea what they do. You have insurance so just file a claim.” I wouldn’t waste my money.
BEWARE PLEASE READ.!!!! We chose this place based on reviews but noticed inconsistencies with multiple posts as they deserve NO Stars. It pains me to write negative reviews, but the public should be aware! Customer service is non existent, with multiple team members calling me from different branches to resolve any issue. StackNStor a few minutes away is outstanding, clean, customer service and worthy of new business.
The staff are very friendly and I had a good experience using the facility, but make sure you look through the contract. I was offered my initial rate for only the first 3 months then after that it almost doubled and after the first year they almost doubled it again. It would be nice if they notified you that the rates will just continue to go up for the same amount of storage space.
I moved in June 28th 2024 and I went there September 15th 2024 to find out all my furniture is covered in mold. It is now all garbage. I am very upset. I called the claim department and made a complaint. Stacy from the claims department is supposed to handle my claim and she hasn't picked up any of my phone calls nor answered my email. I really hope this doesn't have to go farther than it needs to be. The two front end people are very nice. I did address my concerns to them as well as the claims department.
