They get 1 star for the accessibility and being super friendly when you first start renting a unit, my stuff did have evidence of mice running rampant but that is unavoidable with outside storage units.. After reading some reviews I see there’s a trend with raising the monthly charge. After just 2 months I went from paying $90 a month to paying $127. I moved out and I called 5 times (2 times before I even moved my stuff out) to get ahold of someone that could just close out my account, because I didn’t want to be charged for another month after I had moved my stuff out. I left a message with multiple people and each time they told me the manager has to answer that, the manager will call you, or you’ll be receiving a confirmation email, none of which ever happened, I still have not received a call or email from them. Their time must be more important then everyone else’s or just couldn’t be bothered, It’s frustrating beyond belief. I will not be back, I will not recommend ANY Prime Storage location.

Dee delivered some of the best customer service that I have ever experienced. I have two storage units and due to a data quality issue, were not on one single account. Fixed. Due dates for both units were aligned, per my request. Done. Paid up my account. Done. All this while navigating a wonky system! Dee exhibited professionalism and candor that was quite refreshing and calming. She is the gold standard of excellence in my book. Dee is a friggin rockstar!

PRIME Storage in Latham is top notch!! The rental process was smooth and reasonably priced. The unit was clean and our contents remained secure. I found the interactive kiosk to communicate with staff person to be impressive!

Good size storage unit however price should be locked in, especially for customers using units for long periods of time. What do you think? From $71-$81-$105 in 1 year? What's next? Cause I need my storage unit. Ty

I inquired about storing a vehicle at this facility over the phone. The conversation was cordial, but the representative Brendan was unable to convey a description of how the vehicle is stored at the facility as well as after hours access. He hung up out of frustration. I'll take my business to one of the many other facilities in the area.
