I highly recommend SmartStop on Patton Ave. The manager Amanda is awesome, she went above and beyond to help my girlfriend and I switch units. Helped to get the best price suitable for us, in a matter of minutes. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would.

ROACHES. WATER DAMAGE. LACK OF FOLLOW-UP. Communication was a major problem during my time renting here. I often had trouble getting responses to calls or emails, and there were long stretches where the site manager was unavailable. This became a real issue when I needed help resolving a problem with my unit. When I moved out, I found cockroaches in my belongings, spiders in the unit, and mold on items that were stored near the floor, which I believe was consistent with a wall gap I had originally reported. I filed a claim through their protection plan, but the process was extremely frustrating. I was repeatedly told an inspection was required, yet every attempt to coordinate one failed because the site manager was unavailable or did not respond to calls or emails. It’s been weeks of ineffective communication between their offices and a lack of follow-through. I also experienced unexpected price increases, with only a postcard mailed as notification, and I did not receive follow-through on a price adjustment I was told would be made. These were my personal experiences, and I would encourage anyone considering this facility to look elsewhere.

I am extremely frustrated with this place. First I get a great deal online for 60 bucks a month, and a first free month of rent, that's great and all except for when they rose the price to 80 then 114, and now it's 140 that's insane, and this is over a whole year. No notification that the prices were rising. Then I go to my unit to clean it out I put up my extension cord to charge my phone and Gormon that works the desk comes out knocks on my unit and tells me that I can't be hanging out at my unit that I PAY for. I was not hanging out, my phone died and I needed to charge it. I wasn't even there for 5 mins and he came knocking. Extremely unprofessional to just assume people are hanging out when they come to clear out the unit because the prices are ridiculous. Needless to say. We did not clean out the unit we left it as is and left the property, never had a problem till now.

Be AWARE! You may get an online deal when getting a place here. Or even the firs month But once the deal ends. Your price will increase 80% more. Was paying about $80 for a 10x10. After 2 months they Increased it to $145. Very expensive. Wouldn't recommend. Good guys that work there. May have nothing to do with prices. But indeed is pricey.

This business raises prices on you like CRAZYYY! I started at $79 within 1yr it's up to $172 starting October. Also they don't care if you pay or not, one-day you will show up & a red lock will be on your unit, and you have no idea if your items are inside or already gone until they get back to you the following business day. Never again will I go through this company! I'm so upset and worried. I have proof of all my payments, if my family heirlooms are gone I will absolutely RAGE! And I probably won't be sleeping tonight until I get a call back. If they make this right I will update my rating. But for now 2 stars, I'll update with a WORSE rating if my stuff is gone of course, so you all know how they handle these situations. To be continued....
