I’m not on to write bad reviews or really even leave them to be honest I lost my storage unit the day after Christmas on auction due 2 month failure to pay I lost my job in October which was the last time I paid unfortunately the email was my mother’s so I missed them and my phone is off I came the day after my things was auction off to see if I could catch the buyers or leave my info for them unfortunately they came and got the items the same day I’m devastated due to this but still had some hope left due to me coming the day after I left my info to the worker and explained my concerns of just getting my personal belongings back she said she’ll try to contact them and give me a call an if not she’ll leave a note for the property manager which I had a appointment with the next morning anyways I called around the time my appointment was with the direct property management number and called multiple times with no answer but I knew she was there due to me scheduling a appointment with the office workers I had to call the office again to get them to email the manager for them to then call me right after she told me she would contact the buyers and contact me later with information informing me she can’t guarantee I can retrieve my personal belongings but will contact me with more information later that was on the 28th it’s now the 30th and I still have yet to hear anything from the property manager or even know if she tried contacting the buyers it’s been 4 days since my belongings have been auctioned off I’m a young 22 year old with memories that are most likely gone forever like my middle school flute and my piccolo from highschool and meaningful gifts and sentimental items I’m trying to figure out how to be okay my heart is aching and I’m facing even more depression from this event I feel like the workers truly didn’t care or try to have urgency to help me with this situation I didn’t care about my furniture or anything other then my sentimental belongings and even offered to pay the buyers to get those items but the property manager lacks empathy and urgency to help others so if you ever run into a hard time in life don’t trust these workers to answer the phone or call you back I’m truly devastated with how this situation has gone down if anyone has bought a storage unit with a two couches and a table and a picolo at this location on December 26th 2025 at this north Tryon location please reach out I’m desperate to find my items I’m truly loosing myself here…
