I had the pleasure today of speaking to Julia as well as Ashley in order to secure a rental space at the Extra Space Storage facility in Fairview, NC. My situation was a bit complex as I needed to rent the space for my son so when I first called, Julia answered all of my questions and even sent me a potential reservation email so I could share all the information with my son. Once my son confirmed that the 10x30 was ideal for his situation, I was then able to work with Ashley in order to set up the account, pay and sign all the necessary paperwork and secure the storage unit. Ashley made certain I understood next steps, hours of operation, how to download the app, and what to do if I needed further assistance. Both customer service advisors were extremely polite, informative as well as professional every step of the way. Best experience I’ve ever had when it comes to storage spaces!! Being prior military and. Loving quite a bit, these fellows made the whole experience in Asheville and moving such a pleasure. I would recommend this business to new and existing customers. Prices, accommodations, and generally just really kind folks. My rate has more than doubled in a single year for a non climate controlled unit that is absolutely infested with mice. I will very likely have to throw out most of my furniture and clothing, as they are covered in mouse droppings. I will be buying a hazmat suit to move what I can out of this unit by the end of the month. If it ends up being enough of a loss, I will push to have the damages covered. I have no problem with the employees, as it seems there are very few. There has been new employees every time I had to speak with them anyways. Someone either has perishables in a nearby unit, or they're living there. I can't understand why a unit with electronics and furniture would be covered in mouse droppings. There is no reason my rate went from under 100 a month, to 4 dollars shy of 200, in a single year. I'd still be okay with it, if all my possessions weren't covered in poo.
