I just got a storage unit at the Marblehead location. Stephanie was very helpful and very friendly telling me about the location and helping me get signed up and moved into my unit. My account went in default. I have tried 11x (*12 now with another video) to go to this location to pay my bill and have NEVER seen this business open with the door unlocked and the lights on. ONE TIME I caught a lady there with someone in the office. He had to let me in bc it was locked. I sat off to the side while she sold him the leftovers of previous sheds, while I am being threatened that mine is soon to auction off as well. I sat there for quite some time and asked if I could meet her in the morning as I’m going to be late to work. Despite telling her that I sat for half an hour waiting for them to open this morning, would they be open on time tomoro? They weren’t. Nor a couple days later… Nor today… I’ve now called the customer support, am awaiting a voicemail from the regional chick, as to when this company can handle having someone stand behind the register to take my money. I have taken multiple videos of said attempts, and will be visiting again soon with the police. Update to come. I have cash in hand for weeks and still cannot touch my own stuff. I do NOT recommend this facility, as there are many other options available, from local people, that will treat you like a human being.

Fabulous customer service and very responsive! Their prices are reasonable and they go out of their way to make sure that you’re renting what you really need. I definitely would recommend working with them.

The ownership of this location and subsequent rentals associated with the Lakeside Marblehead property refuse to repair basic tenant water correctly. As a customer to this building owned by Storage Rentals of America I attempted to speak to property management Stephanie and a not onsite manager Peter over the unsafe repair and maintenance practices. I was asked to leave by Stephanie. Code enforcement and the operations manager for Ottawa county have been contacted. I have faith they will help the tenants receive safe repairs of their small businesses. Shame on a corporate office for cutting corners in such a way.
