Quite frankly, as a traveling nurse in town on a contract, the only two reasons I kept returning here for my long-term rental are Kat and Roger. They did everything in the 2 months I was here to attempt to make me happy and comfortable. The proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back was when Roger couldn’t fix my heat on New Year’s and it was less than 60 degrees in unit 15 where I stayed. I had to purchase an electric heater locally to make it through the night without my teeth chattering so much so I didn’t wake with a headache Friday morning like I did after sleeping bundled up with several blankets covering me and still woke freezing New Year’s morning. In extremely cold climates such as this, in late fall/early winter, heating units should NEVER be turned off completely despite signage inside the breaker box that states to turn off the breaker to the heat. The owner will likely be livid when he gets the utility bill for the heating because when I moved back into 15 on NYE and turned the breakers back on, the unit never shut off once before I left on 1/2 and the apartment never got warmed up to 70 degrees. Stop pinching pennies, Gary, and let Kat take proper care of the occupants. She and Roger are the only reasons I returned to this place. Your penny-pinching ways certainly didn’t come close to mirroring the massive expense I incurred staying here, especially when you see fit to purchase 1-ply toilet tissue and didn’t care that I was miserable without functioning heat in the dead of winter. Kat and Roger, you two are Godsends, and feel free to look up this nurse when you’re down my way. We’ll go grab a slice at Pies & Pints, and bring the Mrs., Roger! Y’all can come by my house and play with Piper or help me have fun holding my rooster!!

Wow is this place a hidden gem in a cute city. Its right in downtown Lorain, close to the water and parks. There is a great coffee shop right across the street. The inside of the building reminds us of New Orleans. The rooms are new, huge, and really clean. Josh the manager is awesome with great communications. Would recommend this place to everyone.
