I have used CubeSmart for several years. I recently had a storage lock issue. Mark, the CubeSmart manager on Shiloh Springs, Trotwood OH was wonderful. He really went out of his way to fix the issue. Don't walk but run to a different storage unit!! My belongings were infested/caked with bugs (beetles, spiders, stink bugs, spider eggs). The moisture and water damage issues in the unit caused the wood furniture to swell and paint to chip. But the bugs were unreal. Office staff were barely available as the office always seemed closed. We were told it was a climate controlled unit until we signed the contract and paid. The unit was in the far back corner of the lot near a barbed fence and wooded area/field---absolutely no lighting. I had to pull my car into the corner and shine my headlights into the unit and down the alley. Definitely find something safer and that will maintain their storage units better so you can feel safe about your items.
