The staff was prompt to follow up after I made an online reservation. This was my first time renting a storage unit so I had lots of questions and was uncomfortable booking online. It was so nice to have a personal phone call from a staff member to initiate the process. When I returned the call the staff was ready and available for me to come by and tour the facility. I’ve been working in residential property management for 30 years and what appealed to me the most was the genuine personal engagement of the staff. It is so pleasant to have an actual person interact with you and make certain you are informed and comfortable with the facility you have contracted with. There is no “corporate” feel in the Ballentine/Irmo location, just two people doing a great job and making my challenges and problems a little bit easier…and I really appreciate that work ethic!

Storage Rentals of America on Rauch Metz Rd and Dutch fork Rd. (Same office) Not only made switching units easy and as convenient as possible, but they went the extra mile by informing me of a better deal on a longer unit and even had the mindfulness to get a unit as close as possible to the unit that I already had so as to make my moving process as easy as possible. It was undeniably obvious that their #1 priority was/is to cover all possibilities for each customers needs so that the customer gets the best possible deal available. I would like to thank Hanifah, in the office at the Rauch Metz location for being THE EPITOME of what perfect, proper customer service should be. She was KIND, HOSPITABLE, AND WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO CHECK ON ALL POSSIBILITIES AND ENDED UP GETTING ME A LARGER UNIT FOR A CHEAPER PRICE. I've been here for 3 months already, and after realizing that the people in the office really are here FOR THE CUSTOMER, I believe I'll have a unit here for at least as long as Hanifah sticks around. Serenity was the best! I was having a stressful day moving and she made this process as smooth as possible. Facility was clean, staff was friendly, I couldn't ask for anything better. I highly recommend this location if you're looking for storage.

This is my second time renting a storage unit at this location. I’ve been very happy with the quality of the unit and cleanliness of the grounds. Serenity the property manager has been extremely helpful and accommodating and I’ve been impressed with the level of customer service.
