The new owners of the facility are the worst. They have almost doubled the storage fee in the short time they have taken over. My unit went from $85 a month to $117 a month to $152 a month to now $174 a month. They have taken away the dumpster so we can't even clean out our units without making a trip to the dump. Which by the looks of the property has pissed off more than just me because there is always garbage on the ground, it is disgusting how horrible to facility looks these days. Make no mistake the pic on the website was from the old owners. There is never anyone in what was the office. It's still there they just do pay anyone to be in it. When you call you get some poor sap at an answering service in Atlanta or at least that's what she told me. The new owners are never available so these poor people answering the phone get to field all the complaints. This place has done nothing but go downhill since the new owners took over. My rate has more than doubled and for what? My guess is, I am paying for their loss of business. I see all of the empty units and that was not the case in the past. Before the new owners whoever they are, this was a very clean facility, I never had any complaints about anything ever. Now there is trash everywhere always. I see no end to their greed in raising our rates in sight. Maybe we will get lucky and they will sell to upstanding people who actually take care of their customers like Mrs. Ruby and her husband did for so many years. So please don't be fooled by the few recent good reviews they are not accurate. This place has become a real dump owned by greedy cowards who won't address issues with their customers. Also, they get the one star only because you have to rate it to post. If it were up to me, they would get nothing. BUYER BEWARE
0/10 would not recommend! I done everything online on 12/1/25 and I thought I had a unit . By 12/19/25 I wanted to access what I thought was my unit couldn’t ! There was a lock on there ( wasn’t mine) called talked to someone on the phone for an HOUR trying to figure it out. She said she talked to upper management and it will take 24/48 hours . I told her I didn’t have that time I needed by the next day! She said I’ll receive an email or call back. NEVER did ! I called the next day and only take to them for 20 minutes to get told the same thing I’ll hear from upper management about it at the end of business day. I went and got another unit somewhere else and now gonna call back and request a refund. Oh and they already sent me a bill. I told them I wasn’t paying it because how am I gonna get sent a bill already when I don’t have a unit? crazy! Only positive thing I can say is whenever was on the phone was nice .
I still have great concerns about this storage company, but Cheryl is a GREAT improvement. She is available and very helpful. I strongly suggest you keep her if you want to keep customers. I was ready to move on. The situation with the holes in the parking lot and the security gate is still an issue. Cheryl has promised to address these issues and I will give her a chance to do so. On site management is definitely an issue. No dumpster on sight is an issue that needs to be addressed. We should have contact with higher up management, but at this moment I only want to deal with Cheryl. She has been very helpful in a short amount of time. Definitely an asset to the company.
Everyone here has always been very helpful! They are close and convenient. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is I have had some trouble at times accessing the gatecode, and also because rates have increased quite a bit since I signed on, but in all I still feel it is a good service for the money.
I left a message on President's Day about a problem I had encountered. The office was closed bc of the holiday, but Cheryl replied back to me which was very reassuring. Thank you for being available !!!!
