The facilities manger at the Lafayette RD location is extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I needed a storage unit and she took care of me super fast in the midst of dealing with other customers; an excellent multi-tasking individual. She has done so much to clean up the compound, it looks so much better than it did. I’ve notified if she isn’t in the office when I come she is “making the rounds” checking on the compound and ensuring everyone’s units are secure. I highly recommend this facility to anyone needing assistance.

I had utilized this facility since 2014. Starting price was $65.00 for a climate controlled unit. Due to so-called inflation, price increased yearly. Not a problem. The issue was SROA aquiring facility from reddot storage, (with no notice) then increased rent 35%, even though during the aquisition there was no power for climate control which caused a lot of customers including myself to receive damage (mohagany and cherry wood furniture) and other materials in the summer of '25, many months. Gate was open 24/7 and caught several homeless people staying in units during the summer, and yes I took pictures. Called SROA and of course they will feed you empty promises of fixing the issue. We received no notice or compensation for damaged goods. Then after property switching hands, comes the new contract and rate increase. This was no right at all. Yet this is considered legitimate business in america. Definitely wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Gate was wide open as I was driving by so I went in and looked around. Trees had fallen over the fence with one laying over a vehicle in a parking spot. Trash was all over the place. A door to one of the climate controlled buildings was wide open. The place is no longer Red Dot but that didn't make it any better. The unmanned facility business model that Red Dot used only works if the local area of a storage facility allows it, otherwise the storage facility will be in a constant state of need of attention and visibility in regard to security. This facility is in one of those types of areas. Maybe the new owners will have someone on site at all times, maybe not. The snow gate had a chain only partially wrapped around the gate posts and could easily be opened.

This place is amazing very professional, always clean, the manager is amazing, very understanding very direct, very helpful, always willing to work with you the office is always cleaned and the product availability is always there so whatever u need they got I would 100% recommend this spot to anyone needing to store things

There is never anyone in the office when you go. Received a call from the property manager who explained why she was not available on Saturday 10/25 never had a manager call and explain anything before I really appreciate that very much.
