We have been returning customers for public storage for a long time. Paid every month in time and always respected the premises. Our mother died and we emptied her storage to help pay for her bills. Family traveled from afar to help with retrieval. The day we had trucks scheduled to empty trash from said storage was a bad storm and had to be the next day which was the 2nd day of the month. They demanded payment for the whole month because rent is due in the 1st. Would not prorate, nor discuss a possible ONE DAY GRACE. ONE DAY GUYS!!! Further more we were patient in waiting on some one to show up there that could help us or even speak with us about the next day retrieval. Never anyone around when you need them. We were good customers. And we were treated like crap in the mist of a death in the family even. Bad business, bad customer service. Cherry on cake, we had to pay for the whole month, they erased our acct. number and rented it out to someone else so they got double rent. How’s that for a honest business model. Go somewhere besides here they treat you like trash!!!

I have been renting a storage unit for many years here. At one time we even had our office here. The most friendliest, kindest people ever. I drove from Dallas and my key didn’t work. I called the corporate office and Michelle was willing to drive over to help me! Would recommend public storage to anyone and everyone!!

Unit felt hot and humid. It’s November and the units have been in “heat mode” since October per office admin. Even in our climate.

About 2 weeks ago we had a storm. Simply Self Storage called me to inform me that the awning above my rv had collapsed and was leaning on my rv. When I examined the supports of the awning I realized, it was neglect, not the wind storm that caused the collapse of the structure. I have included pictures, so people can see the neglect for themselves. When I confronted the regional manager that they needed to cover any damage from their buildings collapse, he informed me that I had "signed a waiver". Sad way to deal with customers, especially when it's fairly obvious the supports were all corroded and rusted through. Honestly it's amazing that the structure was still standing. I'm hopeful they come to their senses and cover the damages to vehicles caused by a dangerous structure with corroded legs.
