I’m either moving storage units or I’m getting a fat refund. There is blood splatter all over my storage unit and there are addicts living in their unit across from mine. Not to mention the gate to get in is always open and never closed for extra security. I dont feel safe having my belongings sold here. Clearly this extra space storage is not being monitored. We were even told no living in the unit. Stay far away from Extra Space Storage on 5202 W Broad Street. I’m worried not only about the safety of our things but how I even have to worry about our health. I’m appalled.

This place is infested with rats. I stored items with Extra Space only to open the door and find rat droppings everywhere. Based on my recent conversations with management, they are well aware of the problem and have not taken adequate steps to get rid of the rats. And, they are refusing to replace any of my items that were destroyed due to the rats. I had to throw out rugs, mattresses, chairs. DO NOT STORE ITEMS HERE. Management says some people store food and it attracts rats but I didn't see an adequate number of traps or poison to get rid of the rats. Management knows there's a problem but lie to potential renters and tell them everything is clean and orderly. BEWARE. I wrote a letter to senior managers and I've called. But, they ignore me. Just awful customer service.

Extraspace is in a great location, which was why i tried them in the first place. As time passed, i came to appreciate the staff and their friendly help, whether it was to locate my unit or to discuss my needs. Also, the rate was budget friendly. I appreciate Extraspace and their help when my plans were vague. I will definitely recommend this company to my friends.

We are loving ExtraStorage since we moved out of our home and needed a safe and clean climate controlled space to store its contents. The store managers are super helpful and accommodating! After 3 months in the unit you’ll get a notice that the price is doubling. The gate always stays open, so there isn’t much added security. I’m also fairly certain there are people living in a couple of the units which is unsettling.
