Moving sucks! But a huge ty to a lady named Heather. Very helpful and informative. I had called 3 other places and two I had to leave a message and one guy acted like I was bothering him. Heather explained throughly and everything. She actually sounded proud of her place….so we will definitely use Cleveland street even though it was not the closest. See….people are what make a business successful. I appreciate her and the prices were good.

Highly do not recommend. This location was previously a Ma and Pop owned local business name Witchduck Self Storage, upon CubeSmart’s purchase everything went downhill. To start, there was no clear communication on switching over to the CubeSmart system. All gate codes, and online accounts were changed with no notice. Monthly rates will go up MULTIPLE times, every single year. The great deal you got after Christmas will cost you at least 50% more by the end of summer, under previous ownership there was a total of $20 in price raising across my 2+ years with them. The lot itself fell into disarray as well, with a sewer grate located right outside of my locker that was collapsing into the ground, with a hole large enough for my leg to slide into all the way up to my hip (I’m 6’ for reference), this sat un-repaired for almost a year. Rain water gained access to my unit through a decently sized rusted hole on the roof, ruining a large collection of books. Trying to cancel was another hassle in itself. Multiple days of phone calls, with no answer, led to a call back 45 minutes prior to close on the last day of my billing period. Heather, whom every other review seems to be praising, stated that I needed to have vacated the property on the previous day, which I had, and I’d need to pay another month’s rent with no explanation as to why I hadn’t received a call back over the previous days. Upon telling her that the unit was empty already, and that I simply wouldn’t be paying due to their negligence, she agreed to waive the extra month. She than tried to use a “gotcha” moment, telling me that I’d need to remove my personal lock prior to business closing hours, this had already been done as well, and then decided to argue the fact of if my lock was on the unit, as I stood there at home with the lock in my hand. She stated that she had just done her daily walk down and “lock check” and was adamant that she verified there was a lock on my locker, lying about unit security like that should be enough grounds for anyone to look in a different direction. All in all, this place used to be a respectable business, but now it’s clearly trying to suck every penny out of anyone that goes through its gates. If you’re in a pinch, it’s a decent short term price, but if you’re looking more long term, I’d highly recommend finding a 757 locally owned unit.

Met Ms. Cindy today and she took me around the property on this crazy cold day today, she was very sweet and inviting. She answered all of my questions. Excellent customer service! Will definitely return if we end up needing storage.
