My first inclination that Public Storage is not a company to do business with is when the money they originally took out of my account was above and beyond what I was told. Then when I went to the Aracdian location Sandra, the woman who is supposedly the manager lied to me about EVERYTHING. Being desperate and having paid and needing to return the UHaul I just went with it but I should've gone with my gut and stayed far away. Sandra lied about everything from cost to ha ing purchase insurance to buying a lock, nothing that came from mouth was truthful. I went to another location after my move and was told that she was absolutely lying to me and I was given the district managers direct phone number. I had tried to call their customer service and it was a nightmare. Transferred from person to person. That isn't evem the beginning of the hell I faced. After the snow melted and Spring rain came my unit got water in it. That's because the property next store has a drainage tube which is directly pointed at my unit and bec of the snow I never saw it. The district manager I finally spoke with was helpful but nothing was done about Sandra. I'll state here that I am friendly, easy to get along with and I know people have bad days. This employee though should not have a job. I have never dealt with someone so rude and disrespectful and for her to still be employee by this company shows that they do not care about their business or the people that pay to use there facility. After I realized the flooding in my unit I asked to change units and was basically told no unless I paid to change and significantly higher rate than what I was paying. I scheduled a time to meet her to show the damages bec at that time I had insurance and she supposedly was sick and no one else showed. So she basically wasnt working when she was supposed to be. Then the Augist flood came and knowing my unit floods I refused to pay my bill til I switched the damage and they decided it was their right to enter my unit and throw items away bec they said they contacted me, which they didn't, and once again someone went in my unit. I literally started to cry, things were ruined, 65"tv on the floor damaged, items missing. Another complaint went unresolved. I was calling the DM to find out she no longer worked there. So September comes and I'm notified the unit once again was flooded more damaged items and things that weren't on the floor were on the floor. Not too mention they threw breakable items, one being Christmas ornaments handed down, irreplaceable things. I was told they would finally switch my unit, received an email that it was switched and then I'm called by a Waukesha Detective bec with all the cameras and on-site lazy managers unit was still broken into and items were stolen, but she was on top of it. Please it obviously was an inside job bec I reported multiple items missing the entire time. My unit was so full nothing more would fit, when I walked in there was more room them items. These people are thieves. I found items that weren't mine in my unit but no one was supposed to be in there. Disgraceful, unprofessional, and honestly illegal. NO ONE SHOULD'VE EVER ENTERED MY UNIT. Then after the theft I was told that bec of the investigation, my stuff would need to be gone through and I wouldn't have to pay. Idk of I mentioned the fact, that evem though I received a change of unit, my unit never was switched. No notices of auction, no notice of what exactly was stolen, I never would've known it evem happened if it wasnt for the detective. So the did auction my unit and now sent me to collections saying the only collected $40. Please, there were still large expensive furniture items that weren't damaged. I can't even begin to tell you how disgusted I am at Public Storage and their practices. Not to mention Sanddra the incompetent employee. Now you want to screw up my credit. Please, I promise I will do whatever it takes to make sure that people are aware of my situation. There are plenty of news outlets that I will contact as well as attorney.

Rented only for a couple months in between apartments - worked well for us! Thankfully our unit was not affected by the recent flooding
